Memorial Rd. narrows at Eastern Ave. through mid-October
East and westbound Memorial Rd. is narrowed to one lane in each direction between Eastern Ave. and Midwest Blvd. through mid-October for a stimulus-related resurfacing project.
Crews on US-62 near Choctaw Rd. through mid-October
Lanes are open on US-62 between Choctaw Rd. and Harrah/Newalla Rd. but crews could be present in the area from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday through mid-October resurfacing.
I-40 narrows through downtown OKC nightly through November
Westbound I-40 will be narrowed to one lane between the I-40/I-235 junction and May Ave. nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through November for bridge repair. Drivers should expect lengthy delays driving in this area and use I-240, I-35 or I-235 to I-44 as alternate routes, if possible.
Council Rd. closed in north OKC through the fall
Council Rd. is closed between N.W. 178th St. and N.W. 192nd St. through the fall for a bridge replacement.
SH-4 (Mustang Rd.) closed through spring 2010
SH-4 will be closed to through traffic between I-40 and SH-66 in Yukon through spring 2010 as part of a widening project. Local traffic and businesses will retain access.
I-35 narrowed in Norman through summer 2010
Drivers may experience heavy traffic and narrower lanes on I-35 between Indian Hills Rd. and Main St. through the summer of 2010.
Lanes, city streets affected by ongoing Crosstown construction through 2012
The eastbound lanes of I-40 are narrowed slightly, but remain open, between Portland Ave. and I-44 through summer 2010.
Shartel Ave. is permanently closed between S. 7th St. and S. 9th St. Use Walker, Reno or SW 25th.
Western Ave. is closed between S.W. 5th St. and Wheeler Park through early spring. Detour is Walker Ave. Access to Wheeler Park will be maintained via Walker Ave./S.W. 11th St. throughout the project.
Pennsylvania Ave. is closed between Reno Ave. and Exchange Ave. until late 2010.
The eastbound on-ramp from May Ave. is permanently closed.
S.W. 5th St. is permanently closed at Western Ave.
S.W. 7th St. is closed between S. Broadway Ave. and Santa Fe Ave. until further notice.
