Oklahoma Starts up New IRP System
The Oklahoma Corporation Commission, which administers the state’s International Registration Plan and International Fuel Tax Agreement programs, will start up its new IRP processing system on December 2, 2013. This should make life easier for the thousands of motor carrier fleets based in Oklahoma and, since the system will finally allow Oklahoma to net its IRP collections through the IRP clearinghouse by early next year, it will make life easier in that respect both for the commission and for the other states and provinces. The IFTA side of the system is yet to come, likely next year. For more information, contact Scott Greenawalt of the OCC at firstname.lastname@example.org or 405-522-8772.
