FMCSA Issues Railroad Crossing Emergency Information
Last week, in light of a crash involving a truck and an Amtrak train earlier last week, FMCSA issued the following update on what to do should a vehicle become stalled or hung up on railroad tracks.
The information – placed on this visor card – includes a reminder to call the appropriate railroad emergency number with the location of your vehicle.
For more, visit the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration website at www.fmcsa.dot.gov.
A PDF version of the visor card is also attached here.
